Satin Nickel

An example of satin nickel. About Satin nickel

Satin nickel is a finish which is most commonly used for interior fittings where the 'flashy' appearance of chrome is not wanted. It will tarnish eventually, so benefits from lacquering.

Satin nickel gives a finish similar in appearance to brushed stainless steel but with a golden tinge. An example of the application of this finish is the racks in various Georgio Armani consessions, which is one of the larger jobs we have undertaken in this finish.

How We Satin Nickel

In order to obtain a satin nickel finish the item is first plated in dull nickel. It is then removed from the tank and satenised by polishing it.
